Ending a journal to start another...?

I would like to know if there is a way to end a grow journal so a new one can be started? I would imagine there is but I am to old and stoned to figure it out please help...Thanks..

No blogs are continuous entries
You just constantly write entries

There's no way to end one you just keep writing
Typically people go by the date published for reading

You've never blogged before (aside from this) I take it
Blogs are in comparison to diaries or journal entries

I am not exactly what you would call tech savvy. The clock on my VCR still blinks.
