I know it seems WAY too early to ask how itll end, seeing as how its just barely begun. I heard (wasnt born back then lol) that world war 2 helped end the depression by creating jobs for war supplies, and also there were many more jobs available because the men were gone to fight. Do you guys think maybe the year 2012 since its so feared has something to do with a war or something and maybe thats how itll all tie together. The world simply "ending" is just bullshit lol.

ANYWAYS... back on task the real question is... how do YOU predict the recession will end.

the recession will conclude towards the end of the second quarter of 2010---it's just cyclical math to predict it's end---the end doesn't require anything dramatic.

Agreed. Look at how optimism in the news got the market going there for a bit.

As far the as the human race ending, on a long enough time line, the survival rate for all species is 0...

I think we'll slide from a recession into a full-blown depression before too long, but due to the cyclic nature of the economy... it'll take an upswing at some point. As for when this will happen? I give it another 5 years before we can start to breathe easy. It all depends...
