Read about it in news yesterday. Think it was compromised for some time. Amazes me that these big time crims rely on a product that uses servers and costs thousands for subscription. Great haul of money and weapons. Real policework.
At least they weren't busy flash banging little growers with piffling 240w of light. Always makes me want to puke, some of the stuff on social media they put out. Bit like the image of a rich hunter with a powerful weapon, and all they got to show for it is a dead little monkey. That is not taking down organised crime. That is picking on soft targets whilst your rotten to the core detectives are protecting the big time crooks. No pre warning this time, guys. Like bleating about county lines. Hello, its the big guys you need to take down to win.
Corrupt plod? Nearly every week I'm reading of individual police selling info from their database to criminals...
Was a few years back when a London plod was raiding grows for another dealer/grower and protecting him, also stealing cocaine/weed from dealers and selling it on... You can't make this shit up...
Think the reason operation Venetec was so successful was that it was run by NCA. No idea how interaction between departments and county forces works. Bet the cash reported recovered in Manchester is only part of what was really found.
