Embryo leaves drooping

Hey guys.. I'm growing 2 plants for my first grow and they were going great but both embryo leaves are now drooping.. I think I've overwatered them but can anyone take a look at tell me what they think? They were looking really vibrant before I gave them a 2nd watering yesterday. They are both in soil.

I can't get a good photo with my iphone but yesterday the embryo leaves were really green and today they are curled and a darker brown/greenish. I don't know.. doesn't look as healthy as it did before.

Just an organic one I picked up from the hardware store... I'm using a fluorescent (I have both plants right under it about 1cm from the light) atm as the store I purchased my ballast and hps from gave me the wrong bloody reflector so I can't use it yet (new one should arrive today). No nutes.. thankfully I read that piece of advice earlier :)

1 cm might be a little close for that young of a plant. It looks alright to me, although i can't really see the color. when the cotyledons(embryo leaves) first shed the seed shell, they are together, like praying hands. as they mature they open up horizontaly, curl down a little. in a few weeks you won't even notice them, eventually they will turn brown and fall off. after the first set of true leaves appear, they are a much better indicator of plant health.

Underneath is quite black/brownish towards the tips of the embronic leaves but the new serrated ones that are coming look robust and very green so maybe I'm overreacting a little.
