electricity costs for mhl and hps lights

Yes im running a 400w mhl for veg on a 20/4 cycle and then at flowering a 400w hps on a 12/12 cycle.
My question is does anyone know how much it cost to run
Per month and how to calculate it. I would think that when i flower it would be cheaper than when I veg. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Also this is my first grow and was wanting to know if these baby's look OK.

Wattage rating/1000 x hours burned = kWh
Look on your bill for cost per kWh and do the math.

There are KWH Calculators online that I use when I feel like making myself sick. Here is one example:http://www.citytrf.net/costs_calculator.htm

400 watts at 20 hours per day using my average KWH cost of about $0.13 runs you about $1/day, $30/month 380/year.

If you check your electric bill it will give you KWH cost. Usually its cheaper at night and you should time your 12/12 accordingly. I got $0.13 just by averaging the 2 prices, but if you maximize your night time usage you can do better.

Thanks guys, how about my plants,the bigger ones are at 21 days and the others are at 10. Does it look like im taking good care of them?

Maybe a little hot on the nutes for the ones with the brown tips, but lookin pretty good.
