i have seen similar used for humidity for your blower, you can configure most any thermostat to be a switch, it just has to be low voltage switch

It should, but I'm not sure on the accuracy. They have a thermometer inside that's suppose to shut off when it hits that temp, but there is more then likely a variance to it. If possible switch that out to a digital, it's really easy to do.

they are already set up in my place. I can hear it click on at the thermostat when I put it to a certain setting, and i can hear it click off whenever it decides to. I just dont know if it clicks off after it reaches that temperature or what.

i've asked about wiring thermostats to control the temp inside.. noone even looked or answered my post :P

there is 2 12v lines on AC/Heater thermostats that get power to them when they reach the high or low, as far as being able to power a CPU fan.. i dunno how many amps they can put through them.. they might not be able to do it.. and i haven't an extra one to test with.. so if you decide to try that one, let me know :P

Im not looking to rewire anything, I just wanna know if these shut off once it has reached the temp it is set at. They are already wired to my house for electric heating, so if they shut off at that certain temp , and turn on when it goes below it, thatd be awesome, since its in my grow room.

I can hear it click when I turn it on past like 20 , then I can hear it click off after a while. So I dunno if its clicking off once it reaches that temp , or if its just on a sorta timer thing.

Also remember , before answering, im in canada, so those numbers arent in fahrenheit they are in celcius

You totally missed my post didn't you? lol. Yes, it turns off when the room reaches the desired temp.

be carefull..in europe..alot of thermostats are HIGH VOLTAGE.....in the usa they are wired low voltage....you should be able to get a thermometer..stand next to the thermostat ..the thermostat will have a cover..some of them have a little needle..looks like the type you have the indicate temperature by that needle if it clicks on at the temp on the thermometer you will know that it is accurate..if not then you will know it is not..some of the thermometers on the tstat you can calibrate simply by moving the red line to the correct temp according to your thermometer...also most thermostats if they are mercury type MUST BE LEVEL ON THE WALL to work right...also..you can replace a simple heating thermostat EASY..just go buy a new one for a few dollars at your local mennard's or lowes or what ever...one that match's the one you need..either high or low voltage..if it is a low voltage heating only stat..it will only have two wires..if it is high voltage..stat..it is still only going to have two wires...if it is heat only..hard to mess that up..
