Eggs And Crushed Egg Shells In Soil

Is it a good idea to mix an egg with water with the crushed egg shell and pour into soil to make plant healthier or will it damage the plant. My bottom leaves are yellowing and spreading to the top. I think the problem is lack of nitrogen. I heard egg shells release nitrogen any help would be appreciated....

also i used miracale gro potting soil can this be the cause?

maybe the plant likes the egg scrambled instead? sounds like your lacking nitrogen. sounds like you need to give the plants some nutes, particularly nitrogen. also future growing questions should be made in the general growing section. you'll get a lot more reply's there. enjoy the forum.
