I was just wondering what the general idea is on the subject. I know a few people who say eating on empty will make it hit harder and last longer. But I disagree. In my experience it doesn't seem to hit at all, until I do actually eat and then it will kick in. I like to eat a meal and then have a cookie 10-15 min later. And it hits hard about 60-90 min later.

effects come after 2-4 hours (longer on a full stomach) and will last for up to 12 hours after peak (which is usually 3-4 hours from ingestion).

ask @Indacouch , a 3oz cookie can drop a 300lb man...

2-4 hours!?!? and it takes longer on a full stomach?
I've been making edibles for a couple years now and It's been pretty consistent at about 90 min. on a full stomach. Maybe it's unique to everybody but I've never heard that long.
I've just tried on an empty stomach at least a half dozen times and it just isn't even close...I cant wait to hear other peoples experience.

I make my cocobudder, coconut oil infusion, at 20:1 so a tsp is a good dose. I usually spread that on a cookie then sprinkle organic Ceylonese cinnamon on it. Very tasty. Sometimes it hits me in an hour and other times it takes 2 for no other apparent reason than maybe my mood at the time. I think it depends on what you eat with it. Oil containing foods should help it absorb better and I include lecithin in my recipe and that too is supposed to aid absorption.

Whatever it is it works for me. :)

According to my supermath you use about 1.5oz per lb. of butter. I like to use 1oz/lb. myself. So I could see why it works either way for you:lol:.
I have a higher tolerance than most folks. Gotta be careful giving away edibles though. A couple of friends got sick after eating more than one serving.
I told them to be careful... :spew:
