I need to walk-back my support for investing in the translaminar (kills on both sides of the leaf) Tetra San that kills mites of all stripes and "affects them in all life stages". True it does, but why use TetraSan every 14-days if necessary, when 3-In-1 will kills mites + a long list of others, and effectively? I see no reason for TetraSan, because Tetra San should not be sprayed on buds. For that pre-harvest pest control, Kontos can be used as a systemic and it has a 4-5 week active life.
3-In-1 stays well in suspension, only needing occasional agitation. It remains effective if store for 5-7 days. There is no waiting period between application, spray for two days initially if pest persist or hatch. I wear a vapor mask and long nitrile gloves. These are farmer recommended (get the X-Lrg, they run small) :

The most cautionary warning about using 3-In-1 around humans is: "A rate of no more than 2oz/gal. is recommended if people are present, or will be present shortly after treatment, or ventilate the area after treatment." Nothing in there about wearing a PPF toxic jumpsuit. Not even "wear an organic vapor mask", or "ditch your clothes afterwards". Nothing. Not even wear rubber gloves, or "wash your hands before eating that sandwich!"3N1.1.jpeg 3N1.2.jpeg 3N1.3.jpeg
