I know in Hawaii anyways that they've cut the funding for the local Green Harvest helis, I know for here and probably anywhere else any funding issues for the local helis in your area following the financial crisis wont bring them down until at least the new fiscal year possibly a little later so around July, but at least you know if you make it to flower you should be in the clear

I thought they normally wait untill flowering season to send the heli's out because that is when its easiest to find plants. The plants are getting big and covered in bud, while just about everything else is dying

True which is why people should take advantage of this coming year due to the financial crisis, alot of local governments (Hawaii for example) are having to cut alot of funding and it becomes increasingly hard to justify spending thousands of dollars a day to fly around looking for marijuana plants. Even the DEA is cutting back. But they all will keep flying until there funding runs out at the end of the fiscal year, i.e. June/July
I can just see the Green Harvest guys now in like Late August, September like "man we gotta get up there them bitches are ripe!" "Nah dude we no more gas...."

alot of the people in charge and shit are admitting the war on drug is failing and shit and yes i think theyre will be alot less funding for marijuana eradication

the DEA and other law enforcement agencies know that the war is lost... they admit to it .. but yet they still try.. i mean if california legalizes it like intended .. then lets see .. no more mexicans are coming across the border...

True, but localized governments don't have the funding right now especially to justify keeping weed helis flying, and even the DEA has said the war on drugs, and their fight on Marijuana in particular isn't working.
Perhaps by the time this deficit is said and done, we may have new federal laws, at least honoring the State Medical Marijuana laws that are in place in increasing numbers of states each year. It just seems dumb that you make individual state Governments to govern themselves, then dont allow them too. Its like saying "Oh well its kind of legal, see were cool with it but those other guys are kinda dicks about it" So it just depends who comes knocking at your door, whether your fucked or not. I could go on and on about this though so I'll stop ranting hehe.

Idk you should try and find out about it, see if you can find anything pertaining to it in yours states budget. I used to feel the same, but really we are at a economic point that we really have not been in in decades or really ever in modern times, all governments are having to look over there spending and cut back many things that they had not had to consider cutting before. I.e. having to choose between cutting back funding for schools in poor neighborhoods or letting the choppers fly they will choose the choppers of course! But push it too far and make them choose between cutting back funding for rich suburban schools/funding their own projects/padding their wallets and salaries versus flying the choppers and we all know which they will choose.

Goddamn like seriously, the idiocy and hypocrisy of this country is disgusting. The #1 cash crop in America, for DECADES, has been Marijuana.
If it was up to me, I'd already move to B.C and lived my life happily ever after with snow covered mountains and smoking blunts with raccoons.
Too bad it costs an arm and a leg to move to any country nowadays, especially if you're from the US.
