Eco-Grow?

I'm about to start my first grow, and am a little confused about the use of fertilizers. From what I've read, Eco-Grow & Rapid-Gro are good choices. Eco-Grow is supposed to keep the soil from becoming acidic, which is why I'm leaning in that direction, but there seems to be two types: Eco Grow "M" and "Bloom".

Obviously, it looks like one's for the early stages of growth, and one for once the plant begins to flower - correct me if I'm wrong here.

Do I need both? If so, how do I know at which point to switch?

Thanks for any help you guys and give.

you neeed both, you switch after you've started flowering and the stretch is over which could take a couple of weeks.
I'm not familiar with that line of nutrients.
