Stressing your plant like that is only going to cause it to hermie if it's prone to it.

you can do 48 hours of dark before flower i dont but alot of people do are you planning on flowering then put it back to veg

Thats what my intentions were.... Just not yet. But I've been away from home so it will have no choice but to be in the dark for 48hrs.

Timers are cheep. Then ya won't have to go 48 hr. Stress will push them to hermie.
