hi guys,just wana ask how do I lower my ec levels???
Every time I fill my tank with all my nutrients I check my ex levels n they're at th 3.0 mark.
I know it has to be around 1.8-2.0 so yeah how do I drop it??
Is it due to me putn full strength nutrient in,shud I halve my strength per nutrient?
 
I guess you need to reorder your mix process...

1- fill res with just two water.
2- slowly add nutes in desired ratio. Each time you add measure the ec. Repeat until you get desired ec
3 - do your ph adjustment
4 - leave to stand for 30 mins then remeasure ec and ph.
5 - done
 
Why don't you cut all your nutrient amounts in half, fill the tank halfway, add your nutes... then dilute with water until you get to the EC level you want. Balance your pH last.

With the monster bud though,will it not be as strong if I cut 10ml per ltr to only 5ml?
And how about the A+B do I halve the strength with them aswell?

My suggestion is to make half your mix in the usual way, so as not to alter nutrient ratios. Then, you'll have plenty of room in the reservoir to dilute to your desired EC.

Plants will grow fastest at the nutrient strength THEY want. It's up to you to find out what that amount is.

So in other words fill my 400ltr tank to 200ltrs with normal nutrient strength I'm doing now,then fill n dilute it with fresh water till I get my perfect ec level yes???
