I am lookung for a cheap alternative to a 8x4 table. A bunch of smaller tables would work too. Does anyone know where i could find something cheap? Anyone ever build their own. Info please!!!!

all flood tables are spendy from what i have seen. i found some on the net fairly cheap but shipping was outrages. go to your local hydro shop 8x4 should be around $200 i think. GL

Built my own ebb & flow system. 2- 2'x3' trays. 15$ home depot. Pumps fitting from hydro store $45. 50- gallon roughneck storage bin $15 Walmart...boom that's it. Simple and effective...BTW..trays are 8" deep. Ill post a pic tonight. Easily saved $100+ bucks doing it myself. Also built a table out of 2x4's. $25 at home depot...MAKE YOUR OWN. U WILL THANK MEFOR SAVING U CASH. Any questions just ask. This works flawlessly.

I did the same thing and it worked great, next I will use a material available at home depot called chloraloy (shower pan liner), basically its a PVC material that is about 1/8 inch thick and rolls out like material...normally used to waterproof showers. This will allow you to make one as big or small as you want....check it out. Oh BTW you have to ask the plumbing section because it hard to find. Ask for shower pan liner.
