Ebay fan speed controller

it will probably work just like most other fan controllers... and like most others I would expect it to cause your motor to hum a little, which isn't that big of a deal because the sound gets masked by wind when you turn up the fan speed... so yeah it will probably work unless you wanna have your fan at low speed and are very concerned about sound... i think you can avoid the hum by buying a can fan with a build in adjuster but that is the more expensive route
 
yeah i think im gonna pick it up since its so cheap with no wiring neeed, as long as it reduces noise its all good. but any reasons i shouldnt get it, do let me know coz im not gonna order it just yet
