with recycled water flowing back into the rez will any coco particles falling back into the rez clog the water pump.

i am but im doing some coco too that i will water by hand. some coco fibers will come out of the bottom and get in the tray and eventually filter down into the rez.

I use Hydroton with a Cocotek mat underneath for plant stability. I really gives the roots something to hang on to when the buds pop. The mat keeps the fibers intact so no clogging.

Word, that sounds like the best pre-filter for coco. A coco filter.
