Eating a small amount of earthworm castings!!! BENEFICAL PROBIOTICS? PARASITIC JUNGLE?

So yesterday I did consume a small amount of earthworm castings in the thought that I could obtain some beneficial probiotics that I would not obtain elsewhere knowing what we know now about our guts and the amount of bacteria in what kind of role that plays and how far away we've gotten as humans from actually eating vegetables from the ground but yes with all things considered I did consume a small amount? Tell me what you guys think?

You will die, horribly, slowly. Odorously. :joint::bigjoint:

The local dirt racetrack did a fear factor event at intermission with the winner getting $100. Common earthworms were the menu item reportedly dug from the infield. About 48 hours after the event one of the contestants was hospitalized for several weeks. Friend of a friend but did not know him personally. The newspaper did an article on it and the racetrack no longer did the fear factor gimmick and there was a lawsuit involved. From what I was told his intestinal tract was severely damaged by parasites. Last I heard he had over 10 years of gastronomical pain and distress and repeated surgical procedures. I think he has passed away since not sure of the reasons. I think I'll pass on the earthworm castings and leave them to plants.

Good grief!

I swear, cannabis growers do some of the most ridiculous things. I'll stick to eating kimchi if I want probiotics. In fact this whole probiotic fad is just something thought up by drug companies to sell another product. $20+ for a bottle of 30 probiotic pills. And there's hundreds of them out there all making claims. It's like the damn cannabis nutrient industry. Products nobody needs but sell because of aggressive marketing and outlandish claims.

All you need to do is eat a balanced diet to maintain digestive health. You don't need to eat worm shit.

What about heavy metals in the worm casts? Didn’t I read in @Rurumo ’s thread that they’re full of heavy metals?

Make sure you have a side of Ivermectin to go with, can't have one without the other!

^^^^ 10000%

ty. been trying to manage healthcare for my son and balance an "integrated" approach using both western medicine and naturopaths for the last 17 yrs While I get the argument that pharmaceutical industry is just in it for profit and doesn't care about natural remedies they can't make money on, it seems that ppl do not hold the wellness industry to the same exact standard. Ive had both naturopaths and cannabis Dr's try to sell me on their own snake oil as the only solution to my sons problems. Many of the blog or resources promoting these things have a profit motive behind them. Many of the ppl in the medicinal cannabis industry are only in it for the profit and are as big of liars as anyone else w their lack of transparency on production methods. My opinion is trust no one and use your own common sense. Definitely don't eat worm poop either lol.
