So i found a cheap way to get my Ph 8.0 tap water to go down to ph 6.0 the answer is filtered water.
Sharing is caring.
Use vinegar
1 capful of distilled white vinegar from the kitchen per liter of water will bring it down about 1 whole point.Saving me 30 buck in buying Ph down.
i cant get ph down or up where i live since shipping cost more than the bottle itself, @ and well better than giving it chlorine and a ph 8 to the cannopy, or spend time trying to regulate the ph with vinegar. i don't , criticize the way you handle your ph, like i said sharing is caring and that's the way i do my ph adjustmentspeace.
No problem, but that may be a little much, depending what you're shooting for, 1 Gal. = 3.78 litersHi Inudan, I was reading that RO(reverse osmosis) filters also do this well. I'm not sure if all filters are RO, but the same concept seems to be the same. You figure a cheap one will run less than $100 US dollars and lasts about 2 years. Think of the cost savings over ph down. I'm in a pinch, so I'll be using some white vinegar to lower my waters PH of 8! "ImChucky", thanks for the formula. I will start at 4 cap fulls to 1 US Gallon. It should put me in the ballpark anyways. Good luck everyone.
