early misty for first time outdoor grower

i've been reading these forums for a while and i want to start my first grow. I want to do it outdooors. Is early misty a good strain for me? I live in northern virginia which is just outside of DC. Are there any other outdoor plants you guys would recommend for me?

how early can i plant them?

plant them when you know it will at least be 72 degress during the day and no lower than 55 at night
