Ok say I pulled an early harvest, about 7 to 10 days early. Had no choice, what should i expect? Should i just trash it or finish drying and curing it?

Harvested All Gas OG 10 days early. Was scared I was gonna lose it all in all, so i chopped early. Been hanging for 4 days now.

Yeah its drying quite nice. I think if i didnt cut when i did i wouldve lost it entirely. So itll just be my head bag for now.
That is the entire outdoor game...you are always fighting the elements while indoors you fight to reproduce them.

I had to harvest a portion of mine early as well due to possibility of mold creeping in; going to dry and cure as normal to try as smoke, then probably just throw the rest in a crockpot with coconut oil for edible. I’ve done such before and it still works great. Not a loss.

It seems pretty dry at day 5. Have a sample bud in a container with hygrometer and its at 58%. Gonna put the rest in grove bags today and let the curing begin. Seems like it lost ALOT of smell during the hang dry. We will see. Got roughly about 4 ounces to cure.

How do i make all the clippings into edibles?

How was the outdoor smell. Was it gassy? I’m just now starting to flower this cultivar indoors from hsc. Hoping for some serious kerosene.

After it’s dry (and cured, if you like- then you can see if it’s worth the smoke)
i just trim anything that doesn’t have (a lot of) trichomes, then roughly grind up in a food processor/blender, and put in a crockpot set on low (250f-300f range) with coconut oil. Leave lid slightly off to let steam out, and stir occasionally. Heat for about 4 hours. Watch for the plant material browning and getting crispy. Sieve/filter out plant material when done. It’s a saturated fat so it is shelf stable at a comfortable room temperature. Melts at body temperature.
I’ll use the whole, lightly trimmed, buds if not good smoke, or whatever crystally trim I have from good stuff.
A ratio of 1 ounce, by weight, of herb,
To 1 quart, by volume, of coconut oil works well for me.
