Early harvest with CO2?

I am using CO2 for the first time and I heard somewhere that using CO2 may decrease the flowering time and allow for an early harvest. I am still going to harvest by trichomes and pistol look and color but I was just curious if I hallucinated the early harvest thing or not.

I've never noticed early harvest. Just bigger harvest! To speed flowering, decrease daylight hours to 10 or 8 hours a day. You're yield will suffer, but it speeds things up in the event of a deadline such as an impending move, or relatives coming to visit.

That's a new one to me, I have never heard that before. To clarify, I am not trying to speed up harvest, just curious if it will happen regardless.

I'm fairly confident that the answer is no. I've only done one strain with and without co2 and it was Romulan X Burmese. I ended up harvesting at the same time as before. Buds were noticeable bigger with co2! Haven't worked it into my new room yet.

Ok, cool thanks for the info. What PPM did you keep your CO2 at?

I run 1200 ppm an it moves up havest by five days solid now adding bio boost bi canna can move it up further ask Matt rize

Cool, I am running at 1800 PPM since my temps are a little high until I can afford an A/C. Its 86-87 degrees with the light on but I have read you can go up to 95 degrees if you pump enough CO2 in the grow area. I don't plan on finding that out, but my plants definitely love the CO2. They are growing an inch a day easy.

And the CO2 just clicked on, music to my ears.

Who is Matt Rize?

I agree with this post. I have a sealed environment and use co2 once I make the switch to 12/12 and I have never seen early harvests or finishing times, but one thing I can attest to is that my buds become super frosty and covered in trichomes much better than not using co2. I havent seen faster finishing times yet but I can grow with higher temps usually as high as 85-86 degrees and like I said my buds are always super frosty.

I do 1500 PPM I dont think you need much more than that.. even with high temps you are fine at 1500 PPM if you have everything perfect 1200 PPM is good plus your co2 lasts longer.

Nice, I can't wait for some insane frostiness. They just started week 4 of flower and they are getting frosty already.
