Ear-wigs

I have to same issue. Freaking things get in everywhere. Even in my keyboard on computer. I've been setting a glass of water with tobacco in it. The tobacco kills the bugs once they climb in, but this does little to stop the rest of them seeing as only four or five crawl in it per day.
Hopefully someone has a better solution.
 
People say to put a damp newspaper close by. The ear wigs will go in there in the day since they're nocturnal. Then you can throw it away.
