DynaGro Root Gel vs Dip-n-Grow

I had the pleasure of meeting the folks from Dynagro at a trade show a while back and I was gifted some of their rooting gel for some testing. My normal go-to cloning solution is Dip-n-Grow so for a few rounds (40+ cuts) I switched to DynaGro's rooting gel to see if I noticed any differences. While DynaGro's rooting gel worked every time, the Dip-n-Grow also worked every time and produced more roots, faster. These days I still prefer Dip-n-Grow for my cloning needs.

There are many options out there, these are just two of them.

Never know about Dip-n-Grow. I now use an areo-cloner with KLN but if I switch back to rooters I will keep it in mind.

Cloners work great. All my cloning needs will fit into a dome so I never went down the path of a cloner.

Have you done a side-by-side with honey and a standard rooting solution? I've heard honey 'works' but I've also heard of cuts rooting into a cup of plain water with no rooting hormones too. I don't have the balls to not use a rooting hormone.
