Dying or Recovering

My friend had a plant in his back garden in a bed of soil but then he got paranoid about the neighbors as it got quite bushy and tall so he decided to dig her up and put her in a pot and bring her in to a little tent he had. I suggested that it was not a good idea as the roots are one of the main things on a plant (But he did not listen). She is really looking down like drooping a bit like when you take a cutting and looks a bit sad and depressed for a day or two but I think I would be if I went from a beach to a kids sand pit.

I will take my phone down in a few hours to show you what she is like and hopefully you can assist with or without the images.

Any advice would be much appreciated as neither one of us is sure and we do not want to lose her as she is a fighter. Thanks in advance

smiffy... while in tent is it getting same amount of light, how about watering, has this changed, I've taken plants from pots and planted directly in ground without issues. It can be stress for plant, maybe next time consider tying plant down some if tall is an issue, hang in there others will chime in for add.. advice. gd luck.. to me it doesn't look to bad from pics avail.
