DWC's and vacation

I'll be out of my house for a week or so and i was wondering how i could keep water in my DWC tank? The last time i went out of town for 3 days and when i got home the plants had sucked up pretty much all the water. Is there a cheap way i can keep water in there (prefferably not buying a water pump, etc) thanks,

Well, you could add an adjacent tank that is connected to your res, and the water levels will stay equal in height. The connection will have to be at the bottom of each.

HTH

Here is what I have set up to address adding water when I am away. Level is adjustable by sliding float valve up and down as needed. Works Great.
