Dwc vs. Aero

i have a aero set up that i built and works great, built one for my buddy too he loves it also, he then bought a dwc unit and said that it has the same results and half the maintnence is this true?? do you get better results from one than the other??? any advice would be great +REP! :wall:

Whats the matter, you don't trust your buddy? Just need a second opinion? I've heard about the same from a buddy of mine who used to work in a hydro shop. But then, why does NASA grow aeroponically??

Your buddy is right, you will get the same flowers off a DWC as you would a aero set up. Aero takes a little less time because it has a accelerated veg time. You really cannot speed up the flower time unless you screw with the plants hormones, and you would rely on your nutrient line up for that. DWC is a lot less maintenance, and a lot less getting sprayed in the face. The DWC is cheaper to set up, and I don't see more than a weeks difference in veg time. Aero is really for the SOG super farmer!

i just wanted a second opinion because someone at the hydro store told him too

i currently am doing SOG with my 4 70site aero tables idk if thats super SOG or not i was just wondering if it would be easier for me to have DWC instead

i agree with jozikins, i clone and use an aero sprayer which really speeds up root growth, then flower in dwc, the roots dont grow much in flower except during the inital stretch.

Nasa grows aeroponically because they don't have gravity, silly.

So that is 280 sites? I would call that super SOG. Anytime Uncle Sam might bust down your grow and put you in jail for 10 years would be called a super grow by me.
