ok, well, i thought about this yeaterday. pics of your roots are different to me. for example....once some roots emerge from pots they usually jusp right in the water and then the other follow. your all seem to be getting near your water and stopping. they should be longer than that by now. i do see some nute burn..just use tiger bloom, and get some real nutes from the hydro store. get some flora nova. never did me wrong yet. if i were you i would do a res change. clean water, 1/4 strenght nutes, and then maybe drop your ph a little. 5.5, 5.8. they look healthy, and so do roots, but for some reason your roots are keeping there feet out of the water, like they dont like it. the bursting bubbles are keeping them happy. no reason to panick.

You've definitely got some nutrient deficiency going on there. They are hungry and you should up to at least 1/2 strength now. Are you using any kind of micro nutrients? If not, you should get some Cal-Mag cause they look Mg deficient.

i would add i teaspoon pre gallon just to be safe. to be honest since i know your setup.........personally........add 4 tablespoons of it. but listen, you need the right kind of epson salt. dont get the damn fragrance kind.. and also, crush the salt in a small ammount of hot water, let cool, then add to res/stir well. it might not be mg, but epsom wont hurt it, i promise. hope all is well, grow green, and stay medicated!

as long as water is 1" below net pots it should be fine. my water is sevaral inches away from net pot.

why are you draining it? where was the water before? you need to keep it just under your roots... are your roots more than a inch long from the bottom of net pot? if yes, just take out enough to keep the ends of the roots wet from the bubbles, as they grow, slowely lower more.

absolutely not. you need to let that medioum dry out, i told you that. just enought water to burst bubbles on the tips of your roots. get the water away from the net pot. your ganna stem, or root rot if the meduim stays wet. if you think about it, my meduim is dry 24/7 because the water level is just for the roots after they have emerged. got it?
