DWC to Aero need help ASAP

I used to have a dwc setup with not enough oxygen so instead of buying another air pump i switched to aero. In the dwc I'm not sure if i got root rot or not but some of the roots are brown. I also had a lot of algae growin cuz some of the water was exposed to light. Well i recently scrapped the whole system and setup an aero garden with mini sprayers. I thought they could handle a few hours while i switched out my systems. I had the plants in the air for about hrs and they got all droopy. I had them runnin on plain h20 for a while to wash away all salt buildup and any algae remaining. I now have them at 5.8 on 980 ppm. I am not even sure the water is hittin all the plants when the pump is on cuz the sprayers i bought only give out specific angled streams of water. I dont have money for a fog or 5-50 micron setup now. Will the plants that are most deff gettin hit with water recover? how long will it take?

Any help is welcome. Suggestions as well. Thanks :leaf:

I am not sure what pump you are using, but....

For your next try, you should know that the red spray nozzles you are using will need a pump that will make about 520 gallons per hour, to work right.

For reference:

A red 360 nozzle will use about 1 gallon every 1.5 min. @ 22 psi.

If you switch to the green 360 nozzles, they only use 1 gallon every 3 min. @ 22 psi.

The green will let you could cut the size of your pump in half.

I don't think they're gonna make it. I used 1/2" PVC and tapped ez cloner sprayers into that for my old aero setup. I had a 1400 gph pump to run 9 of those with good spray. Anything less they didn't get enough water. This is really just a fancy dwc since it is not high pressure. Also, watch that roots can't get to the pump.
