DWC Tahoe OG Cheese & white widow

Have a DWC going under a 650W HPS . Everything ran extremely smooth all the way through veg and everything looks super healthy :) 3 weeks ago I switched over to 12/12 and wanted to post an update.

I used feminized seeds and have 2 Tahoe OG and a white widow plant, they are doing wonderful and are the biggest. There is also one cheese plant and I've had to prop it up underneath so it didn't get swallowed under the canopy. I had a little battle last week with rising PH and potential root rot, I had a pump stop working in the one bucket and it really messed up over night.

Let me know what you guys think!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg It's week 4 of flowering now and they are supper healthy. I had a slight magnesium and sulfur deficiency because I didn't use the sugar daddy (can't use it with a DWC) so I have been adding epson salts (magnesium sulfate) and they have bounced back a lot. I had too much Calcium and it locked out some other nutes as well. Over all everything looks great exept the one cheese plant is about 12" shorter. In the picture it has some things under the pot to lift it off the ground. It smells great in there. The carbon filter is doing a great job im just getting worried about height. Hopefully the stretching should have stopped by now(I hope) I cant wait to see my end result!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg The 5th week started as of Friday, I am pretty sure I safely made it through the stretch! The cheese finally is 100% budding now and the 2 Tahoe OG's look phenomenal. The white widow is my personal favorite out of the bunch but I am most excited to try the OG.

I had to do some super cropping as some of the cola's got too close to the light but for my next grow I am going to figure out a way to LST them better. In the beginning of Veg I started to tie them down and as time went on I didn't keep up with it. Here are some update pics :)

This is the Tahoe OG in the first 3 pics and following is the cheese with not much going on, (looks much better today), and finally the WW

Hey man I'm assuming you are running technaflora recipe for success? I'm pretty new to these nutes and was reading about the sugar daddy causing problems in hydro So I also cut it out. did you use it at all to see the problems? You said you use Epsom salts. How much per gallon? Thanks for any input and the girls look great man keep up the good work!

Here's an update after the weekend on the Tahoe OG, I am SO excited for the end result. image.jpgimage.jpg

Yeah I have some technaflora nutes as well as some from advanced. With them Epsom salt I am using between a half-whole teaspoon per gallon.

With the sugar daddy I was using it in the beginning and got in a super sweet fight with early stages of root rot. The sugars in it egg on the bad bacteria I believe. I am using DWC so having the sugars in constant contact with the roots is asking for it. That's where me and my partner discovered the Epsom salts. The sugar daddy had magnesium and sulfur in it and Epsom salts is magnesium sulfate. Just no sugars :).

Do you have your own thread going Mark?

to combat the root rot i started to get I was using a beneficial microbe tea and make a gallon with earthworm castings and some other goodies and bubble it for a week and it got rid of the problems I was having (sludge on roots, brown water, slime on the pump tubes, even a little odor) I still use it now even though I haven't had problems since. Last week my PPM shot to 1900 and ph got to 9.8 overnight and I got scared. Normally I PpM and PH the water every morning just to be safe and know what's going on come in and that was happening to the White Widow. I ended up not checking everything before I zipped up and one of the pumps lines got a kink causing the water to sit and the bacteria to have a field day. I thought I was gonna loose it for a few days, the plant looked healthy but some leaves were showing signs of stress but I couldn't get the bottom under control.

Let me know if you have a thread I always like pulling info from wherever I can!

I don't have my own thread, I've been posting in the perpetual thread in the hydroponics/aero section. I'm just in the process of switching out of soil and into aero/dwc. Using 100 qt coolers as my res with Aero misters and a pump. When the roots get long enough they sit in the water so not true aero. It's going great so far just took clones of my critical kush mother waiting for them to root so I can throw then into flower.

Welcome week 8! One of the Tahoe OG plants is just about done, I have been lowering my PPM's significantly and this is the last week with any nutes at all. All I added was 2 ml of cal/mag and also my tea. In week 7 I switched to advanced nutes from technaflora. I added 900ppm from 1200 and got nute burn. These nutes are PH perfect and are much stronger

During wk 7 I ran into some issues. The one plant(cheese) was the smallest and started showing buds last. It was battling root rot from the beginning and never looked as good (was a freebie seed from greenhouse seeds). The Ph meter got out of whack a little bit and when I switched nutes the cheese took it the worst. It had the root rot and Ph was around 5.0-5.2 for a few days without me catching it. Then with the new nutes it burnt the leaves and I decided to just cut it. It was half the size of the others, got beat up bad , and was making the tent too tight. I used the bubble bags I just got and did a test run with the leaves and got a couple grams of hash .. It turned out really good which had me super excited for the other plants!

The white widow and the Tahoe plant with the true Tahoe phenotype (other table has the more SFV pheno) are ready to start the flush on Friday when I change the Rez. The one Tahoe plant is starting to be flushed already because it is ready to go very soon. The look great!

Just finished changing the reservoirs to start the flush and get the buds nice and swollen and ripened. I added 5ml/gal of base nutes with a little bit of calmag because of the R/O water.
