i'm a relatively experienced soil grower but I've just started my first full DWC. The seeds were paper towel germ'd, then into rock wool under a 2x55 watt cfl for a week. The Dwc has 10 litres of water per pot and currently on others advice i have the water just touching the ass of the net pot, i know that when roots are established i should leave an inch gap at this point. The plants are all around 3" tall and on their 2nd set of true leaves, temps are 28c(80f) in the chamber and around 22c(68f), this is under a 400hps dual spectrum. i'm going to be using Ionics nutes 3.5;1.5;5.2 for veg. i was told to just add 1ml per litre in at first but my question is 'when should I start adding nutes for real and at what amount( the bottle says 70ml per litre, this seems a bit high)? any advice welcome lads.
(i posted this in the hydro section but no replys!)

Start with 1/4 strength nutrients. Then move up every week.

Edit : Lets assume you are using tap water at like 400ppm. Mix the nutrients until you are up to say 700ppm. Wait a week then mix to 800 ppm ect...

In general just give them half strength and then in 2 weeks at the water change i up them to lik 1000-1200ppm But Ive been using these nutes for awhile and know how the plants react to them,

LESS IS BETTER.... ALWAYS
