DWC: nirvana's WW vs NL.....w/ add'd bonus

hey everyone...this is gonna be my first journal on here, got lots of pics of my setup, my plants, and my bubblers.
oh ya, i made my self an air-cooled hood also.

I ordered BC KUsh and The Purps from BC Bud Depot, which took forever to get to me,(another story). I got impatient and went ahead and ordered Northern Lights and White Widow beans from Nirvana. I will say this...Nirvana's beans got here in under 2 weeks from 7500kms away, very impressed with thier shipping!
Needless to say BCBD's seeds took over 3 weeks, covering 1000kms only, or so....cant remember...

This is a pic i took today just after i got my AC unit into the room.

these are my bubblers.
i have a 60g dual output pump supplying 2 tanks. 5 1" airstones each, but thinking about getting another.
be back with more pics later.. goin for a toke of my lovely honey....

and finally.... ive got all but one of my plants planted and under the 400mh i have at the moment
finally got the room temps dialed but, humidity is a little low for my liking.

this is my hood which i made in a couple hours with scrap stuff i had around.
i dont have tempered glass for it yet as it takes about 3weeks to get in... or so the guy at the store says

maybe post a DIY on it if any1 requests...

ok, so i germed 5 each of my WW and NL in paper towel, and all had popped in less then 48 hrs... that was on July 30th.

I put them into rockwool w/ a little superthrive. All but one of the NL beans had sprouted by the 3rd, the last on the 4th.

Had some root action after about.....ummmmmm........3 days...i think.....
not warm enough i feared

Then i put the 5 ww, as they all had decent roots, into their bubbler on the 8th.

Next day all NL had good root, so they took their place next to the Widow.

I gave them a low dose of nutes, about 180-200 ppm GH 3-part, plus superthrive, H2o2. Should have waited a few days maybe???

pH is stayin at 5.3 - 5.4 temps 76-77f rH 35-38%

Sorry to alarm you but i havent heard of bc bud depots seeds making it.

yah, so ive heard...
ive got 2 purps and 2 kush sprouted, and in soil. the purps are workin on their second set of leaves now and look way better than the kush. Only one of the kush is growing now, and is very slow at it.

But im still crossin my fingers for a purp fem....

both WW and NL have roots about to come out of the pots
fed the soil plants w/ superthrive

i am gonna do a res change tomorrow. not sure if i should up the nutes a little.....
they kinda look thirsty, and my ppm went down , so i think they are starting to feed now....

just a quickie....1 week in the bubblers now and roots are starting to come through the pots.....
Im seeing some great growth, being under the 400mh...
gonna give them a res change replacing w/ 200 ppm nutes....

also, my pH hasnt changed in about 2 days now, is that normal?
i thought it almost always rises a little, at least it did for the first 5 days....

and one of my purps is growing super good, almost keepin up the the bubblers.....

ya, this is my first hydro grow, so i will need all the luck i can get....

k, i did a res change last night. 300 ppm.....
they seems like they are loving it....the NL is down to 270ppm, which i believe means they are eating the nutes up....


also, both the purps are growing awsome now... starting on their 3 set of leaves.....almost time for some juice....
next feeding will be 200 ppm, w/ diamond nectar......

will post some new pics tomorrow.......maybe......if i can find some batteries

my WW babies all have lotso' roots comin outta the pots now...

most NL have some roots coming out....not lots like the widow...

gotta run now tho, will be back later....

forgot to tell ya, im goona be havin more babies soon...
im gonna be germing 3 more each of the purps and kush.... just to show that bcbuddepot sent me decent seeds. kinda like to prove a point...
purps are growing so good, i have to see more pheno's....

plus ill have more choice for a mother...

one died in the seedling stage.

the widow has been in the bubblers for about 12 days now and the NL 11 days.....roots are healthy lookin to me...
