I'm growing 3 vanilla kush. 600 watt HPS cool tube dwc 4 gallon tub pH 5.75 ppm 550-600 4x8x8 agromax tent great ventilation temp72-74day low60-64nights. Nutes were started off low knowing vk can be sensitive. I let them yellow a lil til they needed N then slowly increased .I was slowly increasing nutes .floro-duo a-b two part. Was around 350 ppm then increasing 75-100ppm a day to bring to around 600ppm. Now I have my once healthiest plants leaf margins curling downward. Looking like maybe to much N or low pH. I'm confused. Changed water this morning lowered pH to 5.25-5.5ish ppm in 600's. I'm hoping they straighten out and get healthy any ideas guys.

I'm a hydro guy though never done DWC. Shouldn't you be shooting for a ph of around 5.8? You could be locking out nutrients at the range you were running. Were you even lower then that before your last refill?

you have a fairly low ppm, I assume you are using R.O. water? I usually don't suggest doing this because 9 times out of 10 I have seen people suggest doing this, and I have disagreed - I think you might need some Cal-Mag.

Airstones getting clogged? Maybe over watering (lack of o2)

And 600ppm in DWC isnt too low. Starting at 350 and raising 100 everyday until 600 is proper. Late in veg a lil higher maybe. Dont think ph or ppm is your problem.

How do the roots look?

Roots look perfect and pH has been consistent throughout grow like 5.75-6.0. And I use fresh rain water pH 6.5-7.0 10ppm every time add nutes check ppm and pH and adjust correctly. The leaves did this day after I raised ppm from 350-375 range to 500 ppm range. Think i may be increasing nutrients to fast.

I was watching for those nasty rusty spots we all hate. My oldest bottom fan leave have a few small pin size rust spots but no other growth on any other leaves show any signs of calmag.

May be a little shock from all the messing about...stay at ,5.8-5.9 plenty of DO, keep water line below net pot..

Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated. The water is a little high going to lower water and see what happens. Thanks
