DWC from seed. Rock wool?

Quick question.

When starting from seed, once it germinates...is best practice to plant it into a small rock wool cube?

Then from there transplanting the rock wool cube into a netted pot full of hydroton?
Is that right?

I know with clones, you can just slip those into the neoprene discs till they root, then into a pot of just hydroton...but wasn't sure from seed.

Thanks!

Right on brotha. But for clones it's still a good idea to let them root in rock wool, it gives them better structure for further root development. It'll keep them in that tight, uniform shape and be more convenient should you need to transplant further on down the road.
*Happy growing*
