Hey guys what kind of advice can you give me with DWC, I am a florida grower and I am told my res temps need to be at or around 68 and I'm at 77-78 degrees and I am told this is to hot for DWC...

I was thinking of converting to Ebb and Flow but I guess the water conditions wont be any better or different.

I guess the only option I might have is to get a chiller, right now I have iced bottles in my res but wont do that for long dont have the time to keep moving bottles back an forth and because they float I dont need my roots clinging to the iced bottles....

If anyone can give me advice on DWC it would be much needed, made some very costly mistakes already---had my net pot sitting in the water nearly all the way and rockwool cubes didnt enjoy that much and lost one plant due to stem rot, then lifted my res and I had brown gunk that was covered all over my roots but was able to spray it off and get rid of it but now I gotta keep the roots clean and get back onto track.

Use ice bottles or chiller... I don't know anything about chillers but you might have to switch to ucdwc so you just have a single res.

If your temps are 77 and you have concrete floors or wood floors you should be good to go without a chiller. The res will stay are 65 in these conditions. Paint the black bucket white to reflect light bro.

i think he meant his res temps are currently at 77-78 which i think is to hot for dwc id get a chiller and try to keep the temps down around 65-68 degrees
