tried great white in my dwc for the first time. changed out the buckets tonight but was very surprised to find that the res was really cloudy. is this normal??? anyone else have this happen??? is it going to kill my plants??

I just got done fighting with pythium so I really need to get the shiznit rolling again.

should ba ok man. it does it with my orca which is made by the same company. normally happens when my water temps get to cold at night. what are ur temps at the coldest point?

im in cali and at night it drops into the 50s to high 40s at night anymore and my res gets freezing. but u souldnt have that problem in ur basement. try to make sure its not sitting on the concrete at night. i dont know why i didnt think of it before. the bene bacteria in the great white multiplies when u have air going to it in ur res. its a good thing. u should be able to chill. had to find mine to remember what it was exactly. i have both along with some other stuff but decided to use the orca cuz i got a big ass bottle of it as a freebie at a grow show.

SO one last question is the res gonna clear up when warm??

doubt it. lol. once u add that stuff it just starts multiplying. lol. u should wait 24 hours after ur res change to add it tho. the chlorine in the water will kill it all. after 24 hours of air going thu ur water will make the chlorine evaporate out of it.. thats if ur using tap water at least.
