DWC Cloner: Do more oxygen/ bubbles = better success.

I thought about adding a second oxyhead pump to my cloner. Basically making my water boil with bubbles. By adding more oxygen to my res will my clones root faster and more successfully?

To a point, the more air bubbles the better

It's not a matter of water holding only X amount of dissolved oxygen.

The point is to minimize the surface tension of the water/nutrients. The more air bubbles the more the air space between the surface and the bottom of the cover becomes moist and enriched with nutrients in a form very bio-available to the clone stems

Is 74.5 degrees too low in a bubble cloner. Shouldn't it be around 80. What water temps do u guys have in your cloner.

I think I figured out the problem. My water was touching the bottom of the neoprene collars. Basically no space for air between the clones and water level. I don't think the entire clone should be submerged up to the collar. Is this the problem

Yes, you want to create an air gap where, due to massive bubbles, creates a damp oxygen/nutrient rich environment which roots love. I theorize that the more gpm bubbles you have, the deeper that air space can be. I see the results of more roots forming along the stems
