Hey all im new here this is my first post.

Im currently just about finished a grow box in the attic its a 4x4 foot box with 6 foot height

Im going to be using a 600 watt mf & hps light i was thinking of putting 4 5 gallon buckets in there

I have insulated the growbox and im thinking of using a passive intake vent system but with a 6 inch exhaust fan i beleive i need the fan running at 96cfm for optimal results am i correce in thinking i need x2 6 inch holes at the bottom for the air coming in

Also what would the heat be like in there im using white faced hard board for the walls

Is this enough space for 4 plants on dwc

Any input would be very helpful thanks

I agree with Commander, attic temps will be brutal in the summer time, especially since you only have 6ft height to work with. I know I would never be able to grow in my attic during the summer, no matter what type of venting I had. In the winter it gets cold up there so it would actually work out pretty well. BTW: I would look at getting 3.5 gallon buckets instead. They are shorter which you will appreciate with the shorter ceiling.

Thanks for the advide also do you think a 4 inch exhaust fan with a passive intake would be ok for this grow also where would i draw the air from outside air or inside the loft i was worrying about dust and fibres from the insulation getting insid the box is there anyway i can avoid this any input would be great thanks
