Hi guys,

Mygrow is about to enter week 5 flowering 6weeks from the 12/12 flip

2x barney's NEW blueberry OG
Grown from seed, transplants into rootriot cubes,7days later transplanted into a div top feed dwc system, 70L max 3plant OXYXL dwc system.

250w mh for veg
400w hps solar max flowering bulb

2x4x6 grow tent
Hailea 150a water chiller
800lph internal water pump
55lpm airpump
8x ceramic airstones
Water Temp controller set 18c (3d drift)

DM gold range grow
Ionic hydro bloom
Calmag (no added nitrogen)
Epsom salts (for mid to late flower)
Ionic pk 14/15

AN carboload
Great white
Orca

I let the plants grow from seed to flower for 50days 'topping several times before flipping to flower.

2 pheno's presented themself's ,1 is short stocky with tight node spacing with dark green leaf.
Smells like coffee almost when brushed wit my fingers
2 is much taller with wider node spacing, lighter green leaf's that are more sativa in appearance.
Smells like sweet lemon zest.

I've been doing res changes every seven days but not completely emptying the res and leaving about 6 litres for the original solution and beneficial's.
I can't remove the plants and u can't clean the res 'just empty and refill?

I know there is dead root matter in the bottom and now I'm thinking it's about to cause a problem because the curling leaf isn't heat stress because my temp don't go higher than 26c and hovers around 23c.
Room temp 22/23c lights on
Room temp 18/21 light's off
Humidity 45/60 lights on
Humidity 50/65 lights off
Water temp 18/20c

Feeding program

Veg : Week 1-2 200/400 ppm
Week 3-4 400/600 ppm
Week 5-6 600/800 ppm
Week 7 800/ 800 ppm

Ph 5.5 - 6.1

7 days transition
800 ppm

Flower week 1-2 800 ppm
Week 3 900 ppm
Week 4 900 ppm

Beneficials
100ml carboload
7.5ml orca
1/2 scoop great white

Mixed separately in a 2 litre jug and poured through the net pots after introducing the nutrient solution

This all looks very good to me, and a robust set up at that. Whilst I have never grown hydroponically yet, I know many who do and these look pretty bang on. About the only thing I can think of is that it might be a touch too heavy on the nutrients, but the curling is pretty minor.

Edge leaf curling is usually overfeeding and those thin yellow tips look exactly like nutrient burn to me. It's very minor though, I'd suggest making a very small adjustment to the nutrient intake. I am quite sure that's what the problem here is. Even if you carried on the way you are though, I don't think it would be to the detriment of the crop at this late hour.

* I have found on the odd occasion where I have overfed during the veg state that a little misting helps them unfurl. Naturally don't do that to yours unless you want bud rot!

Thanks for the post , I must say I am a little paranoid with growing , I'm always checking the temp/water temp ect.

I remember couple days back I turned the outtake fan off by mistake and when I returned after the 12 hour lights out period the humidity was 99% for the majority of he day so maybe a little problem with humidity?

All levels are OK in terms of nutrient uptake
I top off RO water every couple days with a ruse in ph of .1 /.2 per day, so when I set the ph at 5.7 2 days later it's 5.9 and so on
Ppm has been dropping about 30ppm to 50ppm per day also
Going into the serious part of flower now and I'm a little nervous I don't mess thinks up lol
Hltganks for the reply dude

That's interesting as humidity was my second choice, so I'd keep an eye on that for sure. A grower of weed paranoid? Surely not?

I've purchased a bottle of (plant magic+ enzyme) for my next res change to help deal with those dead floating buts of root,

I know that the great white & orca should help with breaking down the dead root matter but I've read that ' enzyme products are good for this perpose?

Im excited to see how these blueberry og turn out , there isn't a lot of info on this strain so I might be amongst the few to grow thus strain.

I will keep you all posted on the final stretch
