I got my hands on this little DWC set-up. It is 4 gal. and holds 4-3 inch pots. 3 inch is damn small...can I grow weed in these?? I know thats what there made for, but they just seem too small. I have some freebie seeds from attitude ( UFO ) that I would like to grow in here..if its worth it...if not I was just going to save it and use it for small clones. Any help on a set-up like this woul be great...thanks.
Oh, just in case this helps, I have a 400w HID ,( MH and HPS ), FoxFarm nutes, and air pump with 2 big stones to run this set-up...thanks for any advise.

some people do aero in 2 inch net cups,, 3 inches will work just fine. if you try and grow trees they might tip over, anything around 3ft to 4 ft should be fine.

Cool thaks. I'm still new at this. I grow in 8" pots in a flood/drain set-up. My G-13's got so tall the pots were tipping. I had to rig a line across the lights and down to catch the buds like a clothes line..lol. In the 3" pots...should I trim my plants down during veg... I thought this might make them too bushy because the pots are only 6" apart?? I'm not going for quanity....just quality..lol...thanks for the help

3 inch pots are fine dont trim during vegg. they need the fan leaves too. and dont put them in 12/12 18/6 or 24 straight. use fishing line to tie them up if they start to sag. i had 6 plants in one tub and never had a problem (room wise). good luck.

I know..it's way too small for what I was thinking of trying. Back to plan A... use it for clones. My clones stay small anyways. This thing is stupid small, I bought it online B4 I started growing. I never used it and started growing in a 4 x 4 flood/drain set-up...now when I look at that thing I just laugh. Maybe for 1 plant..but 4!..lol. See ya

I grow trees in three inch netpots. I have also grown two plants at a time in a stealth hydro dwc setup. The three gallon. When I grow trees I use a five gallon or bigger buckets and a three inch net pot that half the time anchors right and the other half I have to try to tie up which is easy. In fact when the plants flop I am finding happy buds. At ease. lol. I would not veg rfor longer than a month. Two shud work but I bet yur gonna hate the addbacks as they will have to come every day. I always lag and let them run almost dry. Barely any burn tho.

With the stealth 4 gal DWC, I just use air stones, right? Smoeone said I need a pump..?? I don't see what a pump is going to do..thers nothing to pump..lol. The water level is at the bottom of the pots...the bubbles take care of everthing...I have strong bubbles going. Thanks for the help...the pots are so small..I can't wait to see this grow..lol...see ya
