Hey guys, thanks for visiting this thread.

As the title states, I am growing this strain for the first time and it seems to be doing very well under the SE3000 from spider farmer.

Any suggestions if I should defoliate further? It passed the stretch phase and is now focusing on bud production. It's in week 1 of flower give or take and the plant it's self Is 42 days old.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as always.

Little Update - 24/02/22

Day 46 Charlottes Angel

Slightly over fed last feeding and paid the price for it with some burnt tips.. recoverable..

Defoliated but not going crazy since it's and auto and don't want to risk stunting anything.​

Hey mate, thanks for the reply.

I have a grow journal for it already but thought id post here for some more frequent replies :)

About taking a few clones, that's my bad I don't think I specified it's an auto... damn shame as she seems to have some pretty decent genetics.

This is my new setup it's a 3x3x6 powered by the SE3000 from spider farmer.

Was thinking max I'll run 4 plants as at the moment where I live that's the legal limit to have at once.

You can clone autos but I wouldn't..

Don't mean to be negative hahaha

It's more a case of anything I read related to the topic people for the most part say it's not worth the time because of early flowering times.

Never tired it myself however so cant judge.

Seems to have worked well for you though so congrats :)

Best way is to do it the 2nd time running the auto.. so you know the veg window you have to take a cut. I took mine 3.5 weeks into veg. It took 6 days to root & yielded 73g on its own. I am part of the crowd who would say it’s worth a shot.

I would love to hear why you think it's a waste of time. I wouldn't clone one either personally but if I wanted a very large autoflower I would keep transplanting it to larger pots at specific times to prolong its vegetative cycle and prevent ethylene production.

It's more effort than it's worth. Cloning won't preserve the phenotypes genetics, it'll only make you a small amount more of flower from the clone. If you want a large autoflower just train and care for it properly.

Transplanting doesn't prolong an autoflowers vegetation period.
 
Update 04/03/22

Things are moving along, However I did begin to notice it's not drinking as much as it was before. i would normally water it with 2 liters every other day.

Now that it's stretch phase is over the plant is not drinking as much, because of this I also noticed many of the growth to be turning a lighter green...

Any thoughts on what could be causing such a thing would be greatly appreciated.

After looking into it the most i can come up with is its an iron deficiency, as described in the following video he breaks down various reasons as to different yellowing plant stages and what deficiency may be causing said issue.

Worth a watch -


I have some chelated iron on hand that ill mix in on my next watering and see how it goes

Are you still giving Nitrogen?
 
Made a pretty nasty mistake and made the plant hit nutrient lockout...

Runoff ppm was almost 3500... so flushed until I got it down to around 1000

I'm hopeful that this helped but she isn't looking too happy with me...

It pains me to see it like this, but hey you live and you learn It's only my second grow and i was experimenting with new nutes and pre amended soil.

Next run Ill just use a biobizz all mix and follow their feeding guide at half the strength just to play it safe.

This is all human error and nothing to do with the light obviously, mistakes were made and ill have to bite the bullet and learn from it.

I don't think its a lost cause just yet so ill leave it and see what happens. Screenshot_1.png​
