TWO men have been arrested after police allegedly caught them pushing a wheelie bin full of cannabis up a road.
``Just after midnight a patrol spotted two men pushing a wheelie bin up Morphett Road, on seeing police the men dumped the bin and ran off,'' police said in a statement.
Police caught the two men who they believe stole the drugs from a house in nearby southwest suburban Seacombe Gardens.
Police followed a a scattered trail of the drugs back to a house in Morphett Road where they found a hydroponic system in several rooms.
In another direction, the trail of drugs allegedly lead police to another home where the two men had been staying.
The two men, aged 31 and 25 from Hectorville and Edwardstown respectively, were arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass and theft of the cannabis and trafficking a commercial quantity of cannabis.
They were refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
