dumb hydro quest

Do u start a hydro plant for the first while with everything running and add nutes later or do u addd nutes the day u throw it in on rockwool? And i know u can grow a soil plant without addind nutes and get alot less a plant but can u do this with hydro?

you could nute the rockwool light, really lightly. but it is okay to start the seedling first and add the first super light nute mix after a few day. it is beneficial to start with some rooting hormone added to the rockwool or the water in the sys that works little wonders, my seeds need only one to two days now to spruce with this treatment try it

but if u added the hormones and put them in the rockwool and added no nutes to the water could u still make a crappy plant or would it not even grow?

well once it expelled all its energy itd die, think of a chia pet for instance all those things get is water, and they grow up for a few inches, but eventually they just die off cause they have no soil/nutes, just light and water

1/4 strength nutes till you get a few nodes.
