so i know this is probably a stupid question but fuk it ima ask neways....

so i have a dual 150w cooltube. and the lumen rating on one 150watt is 15,000 lumens. i have heard that if the lights are close together (which mine are) the lumens would double making both of them in theory put out a combined 30,000 lumens. im still a little sketchy believing this so if anyone out there can clarify this for me i would appreciate it...

spark it and pass her to the left....:joint::joint::joint:

i'm not quite sure how to interpret what the guy above me said but...

lumens add.

there are benefits to using fewer higher output light sources (i.e. one 400w vs. 3 x 150w) the higher output lights are more efficient and produce more lumens per watt... they also have better penetration into lower branches...

however you have more flexibility with more lights and can get better coverage if you are proactive.

but yeah 2x 15k lumens = 30k lumens.
