Dual Hood Ballasts

Anyone know anything about dual hood ballasts?

I've only heard of them and dont know anyone that actually owns one..

I want to get 2 dual hood ballasts 600W Digi's.. I'd also conside magnetic pending reliability..

(Not dual in terms of HALIDE/HPS) 2 actual hoods/lights on a single ballast..

the problem w/ that setup is if the ballast goes bad,you loose both lights whereas if you had 2 ballasts & 1 went bad......

Thanks madcow, I appreciate your input and its certainly worth considering.. I would likely keep 1 or 2 of my 1000watters just incase..

Heres a link of what i'm looking for.. I wanna get two of em.. But hoping someone here has hands on experience with this type of ballast.

I actually found some other magnetic dual hood ballasts for about half that price as well.. I'm looking to cut cost on running them (hence the single ballast)..

I just dont know squat about em' and can't find any reviews on them either...
