ok i'm going to be harvesting a big crop in about 20-30 days and i'm wondering if i can put my ozone gen on a timer to run ever 30-45 mins for 15 mins to keep the smell down. or will this hurt the drying buds?

another option i have is to put my ozone gen in the duct and run it about 30' and then outside... but i don't want ozone smell to be noticeable outside my grow room either.

anyone ever used a ozone gen in the same room as drying buds?:weed:

Ozone (O3) does NOT always eliminate odors, but it blocks YOUR ability to smell other odors. Ozone (O3) is a triatomic molecule, consisting of three oxygen atoms. It is an allotrope of oxygen that is much less stable than the diatomic O2. Ground-level ozone is an air pollutant with harmful effects on the respiratory systems of animals.

There is evidence of significant reduction in agricultural yields because of increased ground-level ozone and pollution which interferes with photosynthesis and stunts overall growth of some plant species.[17][18]
Certain examples of cities with elevated ozone readings are Houston, Texas, and Mexico City, Mexico. Houston has a reading of around 41 ppb, while Mexico City is far more hazardous, with a reading of about 125 ppb.[18]

But to finally answer your question: Since the plants are already harvested, the ozone levels should not harm them. Just watch the levels in the area you are working in, they can be real bad for ya!
