So I grew a small AK-47 autoflower and had to harvest it a few days early due to a potassium deficiency that eventually reached my bud fan leaves. This is my 2nd grow. 1st was a male.
Since this was a few days ahead of schedule I didn't have my drying container ready. I instead just cut some holes in a paper bag, put the MJ in there and faced a small fan into the bag. This started when I harvested on Thursday.
So this is day 4 like this and while it's a very small harvest (less than 1/4) it has lost it's stink. Originally when it was drying, the entire room smelled really bad. Now it smells like a chemical or something. I've switched it to a glass jar and sealed it. I am venting it several times a day.
This grow received almost no additives and was just grown in potting soil. Once I noticed the K deficiency, I started giving it some fertilizer in small continual doses and it was straight water the last two weeks before harvest.
So my question is ... is this normal?
I smoked a small nugget that seemed pretty dry and burned alright, but it seems it needs to dry more.
Am I paranoid about the weird smell? Any comments are appreciated.
-edit-
I forgot to mention that I keep turning the buds and moving them around in the bag and now in the jar to help with drying. I didn't just leave them sit (if that matters).

This is a hypothetical question as I do not break any laws. I like to grow tomatoes in the basement.
