So I was wondering if it would be benificial to have a de-humidifier in the room I will be drying/curing my buds? Will this speed up the drying process do you think without harming the crop? Let me know what you think. Peace:joint:

Speeding up the process is not a good thing! The longer it takes - the better. The only reasons to speed up the process are to avoid mould and to satisfy your own impatience.

The longer the drying process (and especially the curing process) takes; the greater of an improvement you will see, both in potency and smokeability. The potency wll increase because the process of converting all of the various cannabinoids into ripe THC takes a certain amount of time - before they're all dried out. The smokeability improves over time in two ways; that "good" taste takes time to develope while the plant is drying - if it dries more rapidly there wont be enough time for the flavor to develope. And secondly; slow dried and slow cured pot is less harsh because the greeness isn't "locked in". It's all about s-s-l-l-o-o-w-w!!!
