Drying buds questions?!!

Ighhht, soo i chopped
Down my 5 plants on monday night. I trimmed them all and layed the bud out on a screen (suspended about 2
Inches from the ground) Inside a luggage bag,
Like the rectangular ones with wheels.
I have like half
Of the suicase zipped closed.
After like 3 days the buds are
Still just as soaked. Is this norm?

yeah . if i were you id leave it open for a full day , then repeat to your desired moisture level

let your buds dry for about a week at least. dont try to speed it up by putting a fan on it either haha.

your bud is going to mold and rot if you keep it in that closed suitcase

Even if its half opened. And btw theres a dehumitifier about 10 feet away from the suicase

get a nice sized cardboard box, and rig it up so you can hang your buds with enough space between each bud. Fresh air is your friend when drying so it cant be closed up. The way you worded your situation made me think of a cramped area with alot of moisture and a lack of fresh air which WILL make your buds mold over and etc. Good luck, there are all kinds of threads on this site that will point you in the right direction

I use a carboard box that i have designed a fan system into.

Here is a pic.

It works a treat. You could also have a small carbon sheet on the exhaust fan to reduce smells.

Fully agree that if you dont listen you will have bud that you cannot smoke due to you being too hard headed to listen to advice .
