Dry ice last questions

I got the dry ice, ready to go

1. should I grinde the buds? those are fully cured buds and not trim.
2. I have 3 bags, 190, 73, 25. Should I go with 190 only or is it worth to separate 73 & 190? is it worth it? I prefer one mix if not critical.

Thanks!

Grinding is a no-no. Dont want to damage the trich's you are trying to collect.
Tear the larger buds into smaller pieces and plan on doing multiple washes to collect as much as possible.

The 220 should be your working bag with the 73 and 25 underneath. Its not more work to use both collection bags.

Edit: i think i have a 120 that keeps most of the green out of the other bag

We are talking dry ice, right?
So I am putting the bags one on the other same as bubble hash?

I saw videos that shows to work one by one...

Do 190 and make separate piles. The first stuff that comes out will be almost white and then the quality goes down the longer you go. Stop when it starts getting green

Can you please elaborate separate piles?
I am using one bucket, putting all the weed and dry ice pellets into it, put on the 190 bag, shaking it, then holding it upside down over the surface and shaking it.

After the powdering stopped, whats now?

Shake it for like 10-20 seconds then scrape all that into a pile. Make a few piles like that and you'll notice the color difference. Stop making piles when they get a green tinge. I use it for edibles so I only make two piles and use the first white pile for topping bowls or joints. Then I just keep making one big pile until it starts getting green. You'll be shaking for a while it takes a bit to get all the kief out

Got you! thanks, good idea

Why not keep with the green until the power stops?
I understand that its not as pure, but this is from buds, can it be weaker than vaping the bud itself?

You can have a little green and probably will before you really notice it but you'll have a crap load by then so that's where I stop. The dry ice will pulverize the bud to dust so you could technically go untill it's all leaf matter

OK DONE.

Got almost 70 gram from 220 gram

150 buds and 70 trim leafs I added (forgot I have it)

I divided it to two jars, good for me.

The bag is ruined.. the plastic is scratch and going off..
I made Bubble hash few time with it without any issue.. but now its totally ruined...

What have I done wrong?
Too much time with the dry ice? (20 min)
Too aggressive?

Definately doesnt look like it liked the dry ice. What kind of bags are they?

I have the cheaper bubble dude bags, and they've never seen dry ice...

Well, maybe I was too aggressive with the shaking... :(

It didn't care for few bubble hash sessions...interesting

Its a local brand. I will check with them.
Disappointing.
update - its not local as I thought - it maxtractor brand.

What brand do you recommend?
And is it safe for a grower to order this for a no legalization country?

Casolly bags are inexpensive and stand up to dryice well. Use.a lint brush and wash them out before using them. You may as well get the full set as it's not much more money than the short set.
Don't use the Big bags for dry ice. You will get too much green plant matter in the end product. Use the 160 and the 72 and you will have much nicer results. Then take the leftover duff and freeze it to do a qwet extraction later on.
Good luck friend!
