Ugh, so today I spotted two beetles in my grow room, one was definitely a drugstore/biscuit beetle, and the other looks like a black flour beetle but Im not 100% sure, I have found many images of beetles that sorta look like this, but given the feeding habits of flour beetles im assuming that's it until I find another.

I dont get paid till thursday, is there anything I can use as a home remedy until then? Like a pepper spray or something? Have not seen them on leaves, the black beetle was on the carpet but the drug store beetles was running around the rim of a pot.

Wanna get on this asap. thanks in advance!

I would hit them with some Diatomaceous Earth when you get some cash  . I like to scoop a tablespoon or so into an "old condiment bottle" (pic provided), lightly shake, and give it a squeeze, it takes a little getting used to, but works great to get all the nooks and crannies bugs like to hide in (also PLEASE wear a breathing mask if you do use D.E. in the "super mist" form... if inhaled it can "cause problems"). The D.E. is a bugs worst nightmare, it cuts into their exoskeleton and dehydrates them. It is 100% safe for use on and around plants and soil, and; unless inhaled; it's 100% safe for humans also... and it usually just causes "shortness of breath, and coughing" when inhaled, it is thought that the "Crystalline Silica" is in such a low % that cancers and Silicosis is 'improbable'... but wearing a breathing mask is an easy step to avoid any "problems" some may foresee.

DE is available at Home Depot/Lowes type stores, under the "Safer" brand Insecticide, it's ~$9 for a 4lb bag... or (sometimes) you can order it from Amazon for ~$15 a 10lb bag with "free prime shipping" also.

thanks man, I yanked everything out, triple vacuumed all the nooks and cracks and used the DE. Didn't see a critter the entire time. Got to it in time it looks like.

+rep for the help.
